Nihon Falcom announced Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana and Ys IX: Monstrum Nox are coming to PlayStation 5 in Japan on July 31. The games will release alongside Ys X: Proud Nordics for Nintendo Switch 2.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is already available now for Nintendo Switch, PS Vita, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in the west. The PlayStation 5 version supports 4K resolution with 60 fps and 120 frames-per-second support at 1080p. Ys IX: Monstrum Nox offers a very similar set of features on PlayStation 5, and the game is also available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in the west.
