505 Games has announced more details about the future of Assetto Corsa EVO in a new update video. The game, which is currently in early access, will soon get enhanced AI, modding tools, and more.

The developers have not currently confirmed when the next update for Assetto Corsa EVO will release. According to the trailer’s description, the highlights of the update are as follows:
- Open Mode: Race solo anytime, without needing an internet connection, except for Special Events with online leaderboards.
- Career Mode: A more balanced structure to progression, the Driving Academy, and in-game economy. This mode works independently of an online connection, with internet access required only for Special Events.
- Refined AI – Realistic, dynamic AI with persistent identities. Drivers’ behavior changes with skill level, helping players track progress. Ongoing improvements will be made.
- Modding Tools – Coming earlier than initially announced, during the Early Access Program, instead of after the final 1.0 release, to empower and support our creative community.
- Performance Upgrades – Optimized for VR, multi-screen setups, and overall performance enhancements.
- Multiplayer Improvements – Redesigned netcode for smoother online sessions. Stefano
