Marvelous released a special message from Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion mechanical designer and Macross creator Shōji Kawamori. In the message, Kawamori discussed his role in the development of Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion.

Kawamori said, “The release date for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion has finally been announced, and I’m really looking forward to it! I was in charge of the mechanical concept design for this game, just as I was for the first game. In the previous game, I focused on creating visually clear designs that would allow players to think of their giant mechs as powered suits as they operated them.”

Kawamori continued, “This shows in details such as the opening and closing mechanisms and interactions with the Femto System. This time around, I expanded on these features while also taking on the challenge of creating new ones. What kind of excitement have these wonderful developers packed into this game? I hope you look forward to playing it!”

Pre-orders are live at participating retailers like Video Games Plus and PNP Games, starting at USD $69.99 / CAD $99.99 (~USD $71) for the Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Standard Edition. A physical Limited Edition is available featuring the game, an original soundtrack CD with 15 tracks, an artbook, three flight tags, three patches, and an acrylic standee for USD $99.99 / CAD $144.99 (~USD $103).

Moreover, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion will be available digitally for $69.99. A Digital Deluxe edition ($89.99) will feature an expansion pack with new story content and Arsenal and Outer customization options. A Super Deluxe edition ($99.99) will feature Deluxe edition contents and a digital soundtrack and art book.
