Sony has released a new survey to PlayStation users in order to gauge interest for the Nintendo Switch 2, including reception for the April 2 Nintendo Direct and features that players like about the new console.
The new survey from Sony also asks fans about their thoughts on Nintendo’s approach to Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders, which gives priority registration to Nintendo Switch Online members with a minimum of 12 months of paid membership and 50 gameplay hours.

Priority registration will be given to registrants who have purchased a Nintendo Switch Online membership with a minimum of 12 months of paid membership and a minimum of 50 total gameplay hours, as of April 2, 2024.
In recent months, Sony is no stranger to Nintendo hardware, as they’ve licensed out the Patapon series and Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots to Bandai Namco for release on Nintendo Switch. LEGO Horizon Adventures is another title that reached the platform.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will launch on June 5, 2025, and a Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle will be also available at launch. Lastly, pricing and pre-order information for the Nintendo Switch 2 is not finalized due to the ongoing situation surrounding tariffs.
