According to showrunner Alex Jebailey, CEOtaku 2025 has been canceled. The cost to run the event was “too great”, especially considering that Jebailey wanted to run it at the scale and quality that CEOtaku was known for. While Jebailey considered the CEO 2025 venue for CEOtaku 2025, he didn’t want the community to travel twice in a short time span.
Despite all of this, the CEOtaku team is taking a break and will return when they feel “the time is right”. Jebailey thanks all fighting game developers, community members, and more for their support throughout the years.
In the meantime, players can look forward to CEO 2025, which will be occurring on June 13-15. It will be held in the Rosen Shingle Creek venue in Orlando, Florida and will host the following games:
