AnimeFesta has announced that an anime adaptation of the adult manga, Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl, is in development. The release date for the adaptation is currently unknown.
WWWave Corporation has been publishing the series for 57 chapters. Coolmic is currently releasing the manga in English and describes it as follows: “‘D-…! Don’t tell her. I’ll do anything…’ The popular talent, Ren Arisugawa… is actually a girl! This situation, I’ll use it to my advantage… okay?”
Recently, WWWave Corporation announced that the English dub of the Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami anime will stream on the new OceanVeil streaming platform on April 6 at 9:00 a.m. PDT / 12:00 p.m. EDT. The anime will stream simultaneously with the Japanese TV airing, and the English dub will be produced by Ascendent Animation.
The English dub cast includes:
- Marquiz Moore as Kaji
- Justin Cabanting as Fukami
- Aubrey Sweet as Female Employee
OceanVeil previously streamed an early uncut screening of Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami on March 14, just three days after the platform launched on March 11. In Japan, the anime will air on Tokyo MX and BS11 channels. It will also debut on the Coolmic website in Japan and overseas.
Ayaka Matsumoto launched the manga on WWWave Corporation’s ComicFesta website in 2022, and Suiseisha publishes the manga. Coolmic distributes the manga in English. AnimeFesta is also known for On a Lustful Night Mingling with a Priest.
Lastly, the anime adaptation for Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl is in development. The anime’s staff will likely reveal more about the series’ cast, release date, and distributors in the future.
