World of Tanks announced its collaboration event with the popular Girls und Panzer anime series is back with new content, including tanks, elite crews, and themed customizations. The event highlights one of the the largest and most prestigious schools of Sensha-Dō, St. Gloriana Girls’ College.
Until April 3, World of Tanks players will have the opportunity to command new crew members from St. Gloriana Girls’ College and experience voiceovers performed by the original Japanese cast of Girls und Panzer. Moreover, players can activate dynamic team conversations during battle by assigning at least three voiced crew members from the Churchill St. Gloriana crew to any British vehicle.
The two newly added premium vehicles, Tier VI Premium Churchill St. Gloriana and Tier VII Premium Centurion St. Gloriana, are inspired by the anime and may be obtained by all players. In addition, three legendary teams from existing schools are back from the previous collaboration: Oarai Girls’ High School, Kuromorimine Girls’ High School and Jatkosota High School. Fan-favorite tanks, including Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H Ankou, BT-42 Jatkosota HS, and Tiger II Kuromorimine are also back.
A variety of 2D customization items with designs from the Girls und Panzer series are available as well, including chibi-style and pin-up decals. Moreover, players can complete special missions to earn Girls und Panzer tokens, which can be redeemed in the dedicated Token Store for the customization items.
Bandai Namco Filmworks recently that Maruko Nii’s Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! spinoff manga will receive a four-part anime adaptation. The anime will screen in theaters in Japan “next winter, and a new key visual was revealed heading into AnimeJapan 2025.
Lastly, World of Tanks is out now for Mac and PC via Steam.
