Earlier in the month, Epic Games announced that Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 will feature a collaboration with the iconic Cowboy Bebop anime. Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine will appear as new outfits in the Fortnite Shop starting February 28 (EST). There were also limited-time side quests available until March 18.
Recently, Mortal Kombat 1 added the T-1000 to the game on March 18 for early access owners, alongside the first and only kameo released for the expansion: Madame Bo. The T-1000 first debuted in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Several of his attacks are lifted straight from the original film. Additionally, his moveset also features references to other characters from the Mortal Kombat franchise, such as Jade, Kabal, and Shao Khan.
In a report, Insider Gaming claimed that NetherRealm Studios had cancelled future Mortal Kombat 1 DLC. The reason for this is supposedly due to the sales for the recent expansion, Khaos Reigns, underperforming. The cancelled DLCs would’ve included a third Kombat Pack, as well as a new story expansion. Currently, neither Ed Boon, NetherRealm Studios, or Warner Bros. have commented on the report.
Lastly, Fortnite is available now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Epic Games Store. Mortal Kombat 1 is also available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
