During AnimeJapan 2025, Kadokawa announced two new cast members for the TV anime adaptation of Mika Kamisu’s The Gorilla God’s Go-To Girl manga, which adapts the light novel series by Shirohi.

The staff of The Gorilla God’s Go-To Girl includes:

Shugo Nakamura performs the anime’s opening theme song “Illuminate.” Megumi Ogata performs the ending theme song “Serendipity.”
The anime will premiere on April 6 on AT-X at 11:30 p.m. JST / 10:30 a.m. EDT. It will also air later that night on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS Asahi. d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai will stream the anime in Japan, while Crunchyroll streams the series outside of Japan with the title The Gorilla God’s Go-To Girl.
Shirohi created the light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō service. Kamisu serialized the manga on Kadokawa’s Flos Comic service in 2021. Kadokawa published the manga’s sixth volume on December 5, 2024.
