During the Arc World Tour Finals, Arc System Works and French Bread revealed new screenshots for Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes DLC character Izumi. Izumi is voiced by Reina Kondo.
Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes DLC character Izumi is planned to release in August 2025. An exact release date was not revealed at the Arc World Tour Finals, but the new screenshots and character illustrations give a sneak peek of what players can expect in the latter half of the summer.
The next sneak peek for Izumi may come at EVO 2025, which will run from August 1 to 3 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes is one of the main games for the EVO 2025 lineup alongside Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Mortal Kombat 1, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and Marvel vs Capcom 2.
The previous update for Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes, update 1.21, introduced DLC character Ogre on February 19. Moreover, the update provides balance adjustments to characters and mechanics, along with quality of life changes to multiple online and offline modes.
Lastly, Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam worldwide. DLC characters Uzuki, Ogre, and Izumi are included with the Season Pass.
