SEGA has released a free content update for Sonic Dream Team featuring three new Shadow levels in Adventure Mode, a new mission, new interactable gameplay toys, and several improvements.
The new Shadow levels in Sonic Dream Team are Scrambled Shores, Dream Factory, and Nightmare Maze. Each level has a new Act playable to only Shadow, and the levels are unlocked through the Shadow reward track. A new mission is available, tasking player with traversing the levels and cleaning up outbreaks of corrupted Magination in Dreamworld.
Additionally, trampolines and tightrope strings are the new interactable gameplay toys that players will notice after the new update. These toys will help players traverse chasms and move up impassible walls. Moreover, various improvements have been made, including replayable tutorials, new sound effects for Perfect Boost and Perfect Jump, and a bug fix for an issue that stopped players from listening to certain music tracks.
