ATLUS has registered a new domain, P4RE.jp, that potentially refers to a remake of Persona 4. The newly registered domain follows similar nomenclature to the domain filed for Persona 3 Reload, which was P3RE.jp.
As spotted by @ScrambledFaz, the P4RE.jp domain was created on March 20, 2025, and the registrant names are blocked, similarly to past domains registered by ATLUS. If the domain continues to follow the pattern of past game reveals from ATLUS, Persona 4 remake could be announced later this year.

P3RE.jp was created on March 15, 2023, and Persona 3 Reload was subsequently announced during the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023. Before the reveal, there were leaks that confirmed the Persona 3 remake was in development.
Before the P4RE.jp domain was registered, Persona 4/Persona 4 Golden OST vocalist and artist Shihoko Hirata announced she’s begun recording for a new unannounced game. Hirata stated that the piece she’s working on is really tough, and she’s nervous about getting the recording right for the new game. She plans to do her absolute best, however..
Hirata shared a photo of what appears to be MIT Studio (Studio 2), which is the same studio used to record many of the Persona soundtracks over the years. One of the MIT Studio’s most recent works was Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis -The Answer-. However, this is not direct confirmation that the game she’s working on is Persona 4 remake.
The latest entry in the Persona series, Persona 3 Reload, is available now along with the Episode Aigis -The Answer-. Both are available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
