The staff of the upcoming mono anime announced the anime’s April 12 premiere date at 24:00 JST (effectively April 13 at 12:00 a.m. JST) on BS11, Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and AT-X.
The mono anime will also stream on the ABEMA and d Anime Store streaming services in Japan, and MBS and Yamanashi Broadcasting System will also air the anime. Before the premiere, an early screening of mono episode 1 will open on March 29 in Kofu City in Yamanashi Prefecture and April 5 in Tokyo.
Halca will perform the ending theme song “Weekend Roll.”

Like the manga, the mono anime will depict high school girls that are part of a “cinephoto” club, combining cinema and photography. Jujutsu Kaisen assistant director Ryota Aikei is directing the mono anime series at studio Soigne. Takuya Miyahara is the character designer, and Yoko Yonaiyama is the script writer. Aniplex will produce the anime series.
Previously, 8-Bit produced the animation for Laid-Back Camp Season 3, which premiered on April 4, 2024 for Japanese TV networks, including AT-X, Tokyo MX, and BS11.
