Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO revealed a trailer showcasing the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima characters Vegeta (Mini), Goku (Mini), and Glorio. These characters are part of the DLC 2 pack releasing in April 2025, which features playable characters from Dragon Ball Daima. In fact, Sparking ZERO would be the first Dragon Ball game to include Glorio.

Additionally, the recent March 4 update made a few small changes, as listed in the patch notes. Adjustments were made to the Legendary Warrior Face-Off mode and the character Orange Piccolo. There were also some minor bugs that were addressed.
The Legendary Warrior Face-Off Mode is back in Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO from March 4-18. However, the developers have also detected Legendary Warrior Face-Off cheaters in the top ranks of the Steam version. They warned that any confirmed case of cheating will result in immediate removal from the rankings. Furthermore, measures will be implemented in the future to prevent these cheaters from registering in the rankings.
Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO surpassed 5 million copies sold worldwide. At 5 million copies sold, Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO is one of the fastest-selling anime games of all time. The game reached this milestone just four months after launch. The sales will surely grow with the release of Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO more DLC this year.
