The staff for the Sound! Euphonium franchise announced Sound! Euphonium The Final Movie, a new compilation film that covers the events of Sound! Euphonium 3. Kyoto Animation will produce the film, which is premiering in 2026.
Moreover, a new promotional video and key visual for Sound! Euphonium The Final Movie were released via the Sound! Euphonium anime’s official Twitter/X account:

The Sound! Euphonium anime first premiered in 2015, and its latest season, Sound! Euphonium 3, premiered on April 7, 2024. The third season ran for 13 episodes, which covered Kumiko’s third year in high school. One of the season’s additions to the cast was Haruka Tomatsu as the new character Mayu Kuroe. The cast from the previous two seasons also returned.
TRUE performed the third season’s opening theme song “ReCoda.” The “Kitauji Quartet” performed the ending theme song “Onshoku no Kanata (Beyond the Timbre).”
Crunchyroll is currently streaming all three seasons of Sound! Euphonium with English subs outside of Japan, and a total of 40 episodes have been released.

Spring in the first year of high school. Kumiko, a member of the brass band in junior high school, visits the high school brass band club with classmates Hazuki and Sapphire. There, she comes across Reina, her former classmate from junior high. Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko can’t make up her mind. She recollects her experience with Reina at a competition in junior high school.
