The Too-Perfect Saint anime premieres April 9 on BS Asahi, TV Aichi, and TV Tokyo in Japan. An advanced screening of the anime will play on March 29 at the EX Tower in Tokyo. The screening features the anime’s first two episodes.
Shuu Watanabe is directing the new anime series at TROYCA, with Keiichirō Ōchi overseeing the series scripts. Ōchi is also writing the scripts alongside Takayo Ikami and Sayaka Harada. Shūhei Yamamoto is the character designer, and Takaaki Nakahashi is the composer.
Kōki Fuyutsuki launched The Too-Perfect Saint as a web novel on the “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” website in July 2020, and it ran until January 2022. Mago Ayakita launched a manga adaptation on Overlap’s Comic Gardo platform in November 2021. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the novel and manga in English.
