Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida will be the Anime Expo 2025 Guest of Honor, the convention’s official Twitter/X account revealed. Fans can expect Naoki Yoshida to be at a panel at Anime Expo 2025, and more details will be revealed at a later date.

Anime Expo 2025 will be held from July 3-6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. General registration for Anime Expo 2025 is open with a variety of ticket options for purchase. The full schedule will be revealed in the coming months.
During the February 2025 Letter from the Producer broadcast, Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.2: Seekers of Eternity will release in late March 2025 with the continuation of the main scenario, a new dungeon, and so much more. Moreover, the update also marks the arrival of the Cosmic Exploration activity.
Final Fantasy XVI is available now for PS5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A Complete Edition is available as well, featuring the Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide DLC. The cost of the digital Standard Edition on PS5 has also been reduced to $49.99, ensuring both editions on PS5 and PC are the same price.
