TV Asahi has announced that an anime adaptation for a Crayon Shin-chan manga spin-off is in development. The series, titled Nohara Hiroshi Hirumeshi no Ryūgi, will focus on Shin-chan’s father.
Toshiyuki Morikawa will reprise his role as Hiroshi Nohara in the Crayon Shin-chan anime in the upcoming spin-off. The series will air every Friday, starting in October. In August, a new Crayon Shin-chan film will premiere.
The film, titled Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Magificent! Scorching Kasukabe Dancers is the thirty-second in the series. The film will take place in India, the first time a film in the franchise will take place in the country. Shinnosuke and the members of the Kasukabe Defense Force will dance in the film.
