Bandai Namco released the version 1.06 update for Freedom Wars Remastered on all platforms with bug fixes to game crashes, keyboard and mouse controls on the Steam version, and many other issues that were affecting the game. The update also brings a new Dash move, which is used by holding down the Dodge button.
Moreover, Bandai Namco outlines the many changes that will come in future updates, including weapon balance adjustments.

Bug Fixes
- Some of the settings were not being reflected after preparing a loadout at the transporter screen right before starting an operation
- Fixed the bug preventing some of the changes from being reflected after a time up occurred when preparing a loadout right before the start of an operation (affected items: Modules and Augmentations.
- Game crashes inside the Request Cooperation rooms
- Fixed the bug causing the game to freeze at the Request Cooperation rooms when the host changed the room comments continuously.
- 【Steam】Inability to progress past the story events of CODE 6.
- Fixed the bug affecting the character’s movement during the story events of CODE 6 when playing under certain system settings, preventing players from getting past the story events
- 【Steam】Inability to change the direction of charged heavy melee attacks when using mouse & keyboard.
- Fixed the bug preventing players from changing the direction of weak heavy melee attacks when using mouse & keyboard controls.
- 【PS4】 Inability to choose some spawning points at a certain map in Vs. Operations
- Fixed the bug preventing players from selecting spawning points G and E during Vs. Operations at the “Large Scale Facilities”.

Specification adjustments/changes
- Adjustments around the respawn of Small Abductors, Sinners, Accessories and from On High
- Extended the time it takes for Small Abductors, Sinners, Accessories and from On High to respawn after defeating them during certain operations.

- We plan to adjust the positioning of the damage displays that appear when using AR weapons, so that the one that the damage values from the impacts and explosions do not pile up on top of each other.
- Notification Log issues during Abductor part destructions
- We plan to fix the bug causing the Notification Log to show a message stating that a weapon cannot be obtained during Abductor part destructions.
- Addition of an option to disable the aim assist feature of the Thorns
- We plan to add an option that allows users to disable the aim assist feature of the Thorns.
- Changes to the settings used for the creation of Request Cooperation rooms
- We plan to change the default joining option that appears when creating a Request Cooperation room, from “Host Only” to “Everyone”.
