CyberConnect2 has officially unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 game, showcasing the characters, as well as other details about the game.
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 Systems
New strategic battle systems will be introduced in the third game. Here’s a list on what players can expect:
Weakness Combo: Launching successful consecutive attacks on the enemy’s weak point increases the combo damage! Activate Burst Attack at MAX gauge to deal even more damage!
Multi-Leader Skills: Every child has their own special leader skill, which activates at random!
Assist System: Past enemies, comrades, and legendary figures join the battle when a bond is formed! When the Assist Bar is maxed out, they will be summoned to strike the enemy. Unlock special events to reveal characters’ hidden pasts. Vanilla will also debut as an Assist Character in Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3.
The Soul Cannon’s Devastating Evolution: A child who senses an imminent defeat will lay down their lives so that their comrades may forge on! Prevent the children from firing the Soul Cannon!
Save Data Bonus
For players who have save data for both Fuga: Melodies of Steel 1 and 2, the third game will give out save data bonuses.
For instance, if the game detects save data from the first game, you’ll obtain the Old Memories (Noir) costume. You’ll also obtain a set of items and the Daily Clothes costume if it detects save data from Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2.
Furthermore, if the true ending data is found, additional music to play on the jukebox during intermission will be added, and memorial photos can be viewed during the intermission at the photo stand.
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 Editions
Lastly, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 will release on May 29 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Two editions will be available: Standard and Deluxe, with the latter containing a digital art book and soundtrack, as well as special costumes for all characters. In addition, you’ll also obtain a set of items and a Dummy Soul, which allows you to fire the Soul Cannon without sacrificing a character.
