Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 19 follows the ending of chapter 18, which shows Araya using his Sand Sealing Blade jutsu to counter Ryu’s attempt to kill Yodo. We also see a lot more of the Kazegakure mission falling apart and Kawaki’s back and forth conversation with Amado.
Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto’s Boruto Two Blue Vortex picks up three years after the events of Boruto Naruto Next Generations manga chapter 80. Although memories of Boruto were altered by Eida’s Omnipotence, the son of Naruto Uzumaki is still determined to fight against his fate and reunite with his loved ones.

What Happened in Chapter 18?
The chapter starts with Sumire seeing Kawaki threaten Amado. Kawaki demands that he awaken his true power, but Amado shuts him down using a special code. Once Kawaki wakes up, Amado agrees to help, but on one condition. He wants to implant Ahkebi’s vessel with a Karma to revive his daughter. However, Kawaki refuses this deal because he believes reviving her could create another Ohtsutsuki threat. He only cares about defeating the Divine Trees first before trying to do anything else. Understandably, this frustrates Amado since Kawaki’s survival is also not guaranteed.
Meanwhile, Konohamaru’s mission goes wrong. Matsuri, who is Moegi’s Divine Tree counterpart, gets jealous after realizing Konohamaru has feelings for Moegi. She becomes aggressive and threatens him afterward. Elsewhere, Sarada’s group suggests using Ryu’s Thorn Bulb to find Boruto. When Ryu pulls it out, Yodo tries to take it, but Ryu fights back with Iron Sand. Right before Ryu’s attack lands, Araya counters it with his Load Stone – Sand Sealing Blade jutsu to finish the chapter.
