Bandai Namco announced that Digimon Con 2025 will be held on March 19 at 7:00 p.m. JST / 10:00 p.m. EST with new information about Digimon Story Time Stranger. The event will be held on the official Digimon YouTube channel.
In addition, Digimon Con 2025 will feature the Digimon anime 25th anniversary commemorative promotional video titled Digimon Adventure -Beyond-. Fans can also expect news and updates on a new “Godzilla Vs Digimon” collaboration toy project, Digimon Card Game, and Digimon anime 25th anniversary merchandise. Like previous iterations of the event, there will be special concerts.
During the February 12 State of Play, Bandai Namco and developer Media.Vision unveiled Digimon Story Time Stranger with an exciting reveal trailer. Digimon Story Time Stranger will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2025 with Japanese and English voice overs.
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, players will explore the deep bond between people in the human world and Digimon from the Digital World: Iliad. Digimon may be tamed, recruited, and trained for your cause. Players must work together and evolve their Digimon’s abilities in order to seek the truth behind a mystery and save both worlds. This title will have never-before-seen elements of the world of Digimon.
The latest installment in the Digimon anime franchise is the Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning film, which premiered on November 8, 2023 in US theaters. The film is set in February 2012, shortly after the events of the Digimon Adventure tri. anime and the Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna anime film. Protagonist Daisuke Motomiya and friends return from the original Digimon Adventure 02 anime.
