Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a new trailer for the upcoming Until Dawn movie. The film will premiere in theaters on April 25.
The trailer showcases more of the film’s monsters, cast, and its main “mechanic.” Every time the characters die, they can “start over” and try again. According to director David F. Sandberg, “every time they come back to life, it’s like they’re in a new horror genre. To survive, they have to make it until dawn.”

The synopsis of the film is as follows:
One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one…only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening.
Trapped in the valley, they’re forced to relive the nightmare again and again – only each time the killer threat is different, each more terrifying than the last. Hope dwindling, the group soon realizes they have a limited number of deaths left, and the only way to escape is to survive until dawn.
The cast includes the returning Peter Stormare as Dr. Hill, as well as Odessa A’zion, Maia Mitchell, Michael Cimino, Ella Rubin, Ji-young Yoo, and more in undisclosed roles. The upcoming Until Dawn film will premiere on April 25, 2025. Additionally, the recent remastered version of the original Until Dawn game is available now on the PlayStation 5 and PC.
