Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition Ending Support on iOS

The Android, PS4, and Switch versions are unaffected.

On February 13, Square Enix announced that the company will be ending support of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition on iOS. The Android, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 versions are unaffected.

According to Square Enix, the company received reports of players being unable to access Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition’s additional content they purchased on iOS this past January. This issue pertains to the full paid versions featuring all dungeons, and Square Enix discovered its due to changes to the in-app purchases model.

However, Square Enix is unable to completely fix the bug and implement new changes, resulting in the iOS version’s end of support. Players who made in-app purchases in January 2024 or later will be eligible for refunds. Refunds can be requested by contacting Apple Support. Any issues regarding the process may be remedied or addressed by contacting Square Enix’s support center before August 31.

The following content is eligible for refunds:

    • Full Version
    • Moogle Arms
    • Relic Arms
    • Sapphire Earring
    • Magic Wallet
    • Special Arms Set
    • Sherlotta’s Crystal
    • Yuri’s Crystal
    • Layle’s Crystal
    • Leo’s Crystal
    • Mira’s Crystal
    • Bel Dat’s Crystal
    • Chelinka’s Crystal
    • Chime’s Crystal
    • Memory Crystal Pack

Lastly, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is available now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. Back in August 2023, producer Akitoshi Kawazu stated that a “brand-new chapter” for the series will come. Kawazu feels regret for not being able to deliver a new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles game yet. Although he couldn’t announce anything at that time, he ensures that new trials for the cast will await them.
