The Game Awards 2025 and Summer Game Fest showrunner Geoff Keighley announced the Summer Game Fest 2025 Showcase will be held on June 6 at 2:00 p.m. PST / 5:00 p.m. EST at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
The Summer Game Fest 2025 Showcase will be streamed on more than 20 platforms, such as YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, TikTok, Steam, and many more partners. It will be a two-hour long showcase with new game announcements, “surprises,” and reveals. Public ticket sales will open in spring 2025.
After the showcase, Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition will air with new updates and announcements for indie games. From June 7 to 9, the physical Summer Game Fest: Play Days event will return to Los Angeles with three days of exhibits and hands-on showcases for top invited media and content creators. It will also feature more than 40 of the industry’s biggest publishers.
On Twitter/X, Geoff Keighley also confirmed that this year’s Summer Game Fest will introduce a “business-to-business though leader event” to go over the changes, challenges and opportunities in the current game industry. It will also celebrate the cultural impact and importance of gaming. Former GamesIndustry.biz head Christopher Dring is curating the event alongside Keighley. Key leaders from games, entertainment, and more will be on stage for discussions as well.
Keighley added, “Lots of exciting things ahead as we continue to build SGF to support the video game industry and fans around the world. More news soon!”
