PQube announced eXtend’s otome visual novel Bustafellows surpassed 150,000 copies sold worldwide for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. This includes physical shipments and digital copies sold of Bustafellows for the Japanese, English, and Chinese versions.

The publisher reiterates that Bustafellows Season 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in the west this year with physical and digital editions. Pre-orders are available now for the physical Nintendo Switch edition, and a Bustafellows 2 demo is coming soon to Steam in the west.

Players who completed the original Bustafellows will gain a special bonus in Bustafellows Season 2. Nintendo Switch players with save data from Bustafellows gain access to a “connected” episode that bridges the original game to the sequel.

Moreover, the “Bustafellows Radio” online radio program will be held on February 2, and tickets are now on sale for 3,000 yen (roughly $19.45) at eXtend’s Zaiko page. The event will feature KENN and Yusuke Shirai, with Kaito Ishikawa making a special guest appearance. Ticket sales end on February 9.

The press release reads, “With the concept of ‘playing a movie,’ this cinematic adventure game features a diverse cast of characters, including a crooked lawyer, a hitman who kills other hitmen, a plastic surgeon, a coroner, and a hacker, each with unique skills. The Japanese version was released on 19th December, 2019, followed by the English and Chinese versions, and has now reached a cumulative sales total of 150,000 units.”

Lastly, Bustafellows Season 2 released on May 25, 2023 for Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch in Japan, and its coming to the west in 2025.
