Compile Heart and Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix developer Neilo released a new teaser trailer for an upcoming third-person shooter Scar-Lead Salvation. The game stars Fairouz Ai as Willow Martin, a red-haired woman with no memory of her past but has impressive fighting abilities.

The teaser trailer for the new third-person shooter by Compile Heart and Neilo showcases Willow in combat. She battles against mechanical enemies in the trailer, and some of her armor gets torn off. Another character named AI (voiced by Junichi Suwabe) also appears in the trailer.

Scar-Lead Salvation is led by Hiroshi Aoki, who previously produced Rune Factory 5. Players have access to 10 different weapon types as Willow, and the weapons can be upgraded. Players can parry and teleport, and dungeons are randomly generated. When Willow dies, weapons and levels are lost, similarly to a roguelike game. A mysterious number also appears on Willow’s face.

Compile Heart recently teased multiple new games coming in 2025, including the new RPG Todokero! Tatakae! Calamity Angels and an upcoming M2-developed shoot ’em up. These new games were originally planned to release in summer 2024, before Compile Heart delayed them to 2025.

Todokero! Tatakae! Calamity Angels is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The new RPG features a main character named Yuuri, who is designed by illustrator Kei Nanameda. Players may choose the character to be male or female.

The new shoot ’em up developed in collaboration with M2 is coming soon to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The player’s main ship is called Fantas, which was designed by illustrator Toshiaki Takayama.

Compile Heart’s new roguelike RPG Death end re;Quest Code Z is coming to the west in 2025 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, the Nintendo Switch version will no longer release in the west due to the game not complying with Nintendo guidelines. Idea Factory International will sell the game physically and digitally with support for English and Japanese voice overs. Lastly, physical standard and limited editions will be available in the IFI Online Store, and purchases will include an exclusive trading card.
