Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising revealed that Sandalphon will be playable at Frosty Faustings XVII. The event will occur from January 23 to 26, 2025, at the Yorktown Center in Lombard, Illinois. However, he will not be playable on the event’s last day. Sandalphon will join Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising on February 26 with version 2.00, so Frosty Faustings XVII attendees will be the first to experience him.
Additionally, Sandalphon is the first character for Season 2, with four other characters waiting to be announced. Moreover, the developers will host a special pre-launch livestream for version 2.00 on February 21 that will showcase Sandalphon’s gameplay and everything players need to know about the update. Also, Cygames and Arc System Works announced pre-orders for the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising original soundtrack are now open. The soundtrack will be available physically and digitally on January 29, 2025. The physical Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising original soundtrack will be available for ¥5,500 (tax included) at the CyStore (through Buyee). It will feature more than 70 tracks across four discs, including all character battle themes from Season 1 and music from the game’s various modes. Pre-orders are now available through December 14, 2024. First-print copies will include an exclusive sleeve case, and fans in the west can expect it to ship by February 20, 2025.
