SEGA has released the Sonic Jam skin as free DLC for Sonic X Shadow Generations on all platforms. Previously, the DLC skin was exclusive to fans who signed up to the SEGA newsletter before November 1, 2024.
As the name suggests, the Sonic Jam Legacy Skin for Sonic X Shadow Generations is a tribute to Sonic’s first 3D appearance in the 1997 SEGA Saturn game. Those who signed up for the SEGA newsletter received a DLC code and instructions on how to redeem it on their preferred platform.

Moreover, the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie Pack is available now for Sonic X Shadow Generations. This new DLC lets players explore modern-day Shibuya as Shadow from Sonic the Hedgehog 3, voiced by Keanu Reeves himself. The level is accessible from the White Space in Shadow Generations, which is Shadow’s campaign.
Currently, Sonic fans can dive into Sonic x Shadow Generations right now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. In Japan, the Sonic X Shadow Generations Perfect | Reflections Original Soundtrack is available in a physical two-disc set for 3,850 yen (tax included).
