NEOWIZ announced it will publish Shape of Dreams, a new roguelike action game with massively online battle arena (MOBA) and co-op elements by South Korean indie developer Lizard Smoothie. No playthrough is the same, adding to its replay value.
Shape of Dreams was initially developed by just two college students who envisioned a game where players can edit their hero’s memories and make them fit their vision in a dream world. Players can enjoy the game solo or with up to four friends in co-op mode. Before the game launches, fans can enjoy a demo and prologue version of Shape of Dreams on Steam. The prologue generated over 200,000 downloads and earned an Overwhelmingly Positive user rating.
“Korea carries a strong history with MOBA games, which is what initially drew us to Shape of Dreams,” said NEOWIZ CEO Seung-Cheol Kim. “Lizard Smoothie has crafted a unique action title that brings a familiar structure to audiences and improves upon it with its co-op battle gameplay. We are confident in its ability to carve a new path for the roguelike genre.”
