Waiting in the Lime Forest — A Dark Murder Mystery
Game Overview
Waiting in the Lime Forest is a point-and-click adventure that blends small-scale horror and thriller. The story begins with a mysterious message, “Waiting in the Lime Forest,” left at the scene of a murder.
Set in the 1920s in a suburban area of America, the player takes on the role of Edward, a lawyer racing to clear his friend Oliver’s name from a murder charge. This game features a multi-ending system, where key choices affect the outcome, and how you guide Oliver to salvation—or towards his doom—is the key to unlocking the truth.
Story
Dogs and friendship are the most important in this land, for him.
Oliver is torn between his father’s harsh masculine expectations and his own delicate emotions.
Edward, his senpai, lives a life of stability, with a wife and a dog, and adheres to urban values.
Yet, he cannot abandon his troubled friend, who drowns in self-destructive tendencies.
Writing subpar western novels, while being beaten by his father, clinging to the past and romanticizing his painful memories with a glass of bourbon.
Please, Love Him.
