Goku and Vegeta have finally acquired two of the three Dragon Balls in the Demon Realm, but it appears that a surprise awaits them in Dragon Ball Daima episode 13. Although this Dragon Ball Daima episode doesn’t appear to be an all-out brawl, you will definitely want tune in. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about episode 13 before the premiere.
Episode 12 Recap
In Dragon Ball Daima episode 12, Vegeta narrowly avoided being swallowed by the kraken during his fight with Tamagami Number Two. In order to even the odds, he transforms into Super Saiyan 2, but the Tamagami also gets a boost from Neva, the Tamagami’s creator. Although this seemed to put Vegeta at a disadvantage, Neva knew it would push Vegeta’s limits and benefit him.
Vegeta powered up past Super Saiyan 2 to become Super Saiyan 3 for the first time. Goku is shocked to see Vegeta reach this state, but Bulma informs him that he trained long and hard for this. Tamagami Number Two stood no chance after a hard blow to the face, and Vegeta also completed the Tamagami’s final challenge to secure the two-star Dragon Ball.
Meanwhile, Majin Duu continued his battle against Tamagami Number One. Duu hesitated to fight anymore after getting cravings for chocolate but just like his predecessor, addressing said cravings gave him an extreme power boost. This was enough to best Tamagami Number One in battle and with the help of Majin Kuu, Duu completed the final challenge to receive the one-star Dragon Ball for Dr. Arinsu.
Dragon Ball Daima Episode 13 Release Date and Time
Dragon Ball Daima episode 13 will release on Friday, January 10 at 8:45 a.m. PST / 11:45 a.m. EST on Crunchyroll. There was no new episode on January 3 due to a holiday break. The new episode is titled “Surprise” and it will be streaming first with English subs. Netflix will stream the new episode one week later on January 17.

What to Expect in Episode 13
It’s clear that Goku and Vegeta’s group are now on a collision course toward Dr. Arinsu and the Majin’s group, as they will inevitable have to fight for control of all three Dragon Balls. It’s unclear how Degesu and Gomah will attempt to thwart either group’s plans yet, but we know they won’t give up on their plan.
With the Tamagami out of the picture, Goku and his crew will likely need some rest. The episode 13 preview seems to tease that Dr. Arinsu’s group will become aware of where Goku and friends actually are, however. The preview was somewhat vague, but we are definitely in for another great episode of Dragon Ball Daima.
At least 20 episodes are reportedly planned with Dragon Ball Daima’s weekly schedule, and you can expect episode 14 to follow up on January 17 on Crunchyroll.
