Dragami Games president Yoshimi Yasuda confirms one of the “unconventional” updates for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will add a new Nightmare Mode. In Nightmare Mode, Juliet is powered up to the max against very strong zombies in Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP.
On Twitter/X, Yasuda said, “One of my goals for 2025 is to make a unconventional update to RePOP!! We will be implementing a Nightmare Mode where the strongest Juliet will be in a speed battle with the strongest Zombies!!!”
It’s also worth noting that a new Photo Mode update for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is coming soon, but a release date has not been announced yet. The previous update was released on December 3 and introduced the Pin-Up Outfit for Juliet, along with bug fixes. 2025 looks to be a busy year for the game, so stay tuned for more information once available.
The PC version also received an update that added new Steam trading cards. By collecting these trading cards, players can unlock badges, emoticons, backgrounds, and other items for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP on Steam.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP update 1.06 brought major performance improvements and several bug fixes on Nintendo Switch. Specifically, this update fixes frame rate issues on the Nintendo Switch version in 45 scenes.
Lastly, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game runs at 1080p at 30 FPS on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Xbox One version may be upgraded to the Xbox Series X|S version via Smart Delivery.
