D3 Publisher and SHADE announced girls sword-fighting action game Samurai Maiden surpassed 100,000 copies sold worldwide. To celebrate the sales milestone, D3 Publisher announced a holiday sale for Samurai Maiden.
Samurai Maiden is now on sale for 55% off for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store, Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop, and PC via Steam. The sale ends on December 26 at 2:59 a.m. EST, according to the Nintendo eShop.
Samurai Maiden is a girls sword-fighting game where protagonist Tsumugi is sent back in time and must venture into the underworld to prevent the end of the real world. She first encounters Nobunaga Oda, voiced by Kazuma Kiryu voice actor Takaya Kuroda, during the Honnōji Incident. There, she changes the course of history with the help of strange shinobi.
The April 2024 Samurai Maiden update introduced the “Durable Bath Towel” costume for Tsumugi and friends. It may be purchased with in-game currency, which is obtained through normal progression. Additionally, the “Underworld Hot Spring” was added to the camp background. Of course, the new costume and background go hand-in-hand.
The April update also adjusted the AI of enemy characters. Moreover, the Steam version received Steam trading cards to collect by playing the game or trading with other Steam users. Overall, the update added some more value to the Samurai Maiden experience.
Samurai Maiden is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam worldwide. Lastly, Final Weapon’s coverage of Samurai Maiden may be found below:
