During INDIE Live Expo 2024 Winter, developer tokoronyori and publisher Kodansha Games Creators’ Lab announced two-player strategy adventure game BOKURA: planet will release on April 24, 2025 for PC via Steam. Players need to work together with your partner to solve puzzles, and in some instances, engage in important confrontations.
A special demo for BOKURA: planet will launch on January 16, 2025 on Steam. This demo will give players a valuable sneak peek into what the full game will offer. In the meantime, here’s an overview of the game’s story, via Steam:
The earth was destroyed, and the few survivors began anew from the Stone Age,
and a new civilization was built.
Eventually, they were able to journey into space,
and so they planned to investigate faraway planets.
However, the distance between the earth and those planets was great, and it would take several hundred years to complete the journey.
Therefore, those condemned to death row were chosen to carry out the investigation.
On the journey, the research ship breaks down and two crew members must make an emergency escape.
They make an emergency landing on an unknown red planet, and they both have their own reason why they must return to Earth.
Will they be able to return safely?
BOKURA has over half a million downloads to date across Nintendo Switch and Steam. The game was first released in February 2023 as part of Kodansha Game Creators’ Lab Vol. 1, with over 600,000 copies sold.
