Alchemy Stars is Shutting Down in January 2025

An offline Special Edition is coming soon.

Level Infinite and Tourdog Studio announced free-to-play mobile RPG Alchemy Stars will be shutting down on January 24, 2025 at 12:00 GMT+8. An offline version, titled Alchemy Stars Special Edition, will be available with limited features on Android and iOS

Players may keep their game data by downloading it to their local device storage before the shutdown date. Since Alchemy Stars is shutting down, online aspects of the game will not be accessible in the offline version.

Here’s the full notice of termination, via the game’s official Twitter/X account:

Notice of Termination of Alchemy Stars

We thank you very much for playing Alchemy Stars (the “Game”).

    1. Termination Schedule

We regret to inform you that the Game will be retired with effect from January 24, 2025, at 12:00 GMT+8 (“Termination Date”). Please note the exact date and time of termination may differ by region.

However, as a mark of our appreciation, we are pleased to inform that we will be making available a special edition of the Game (“Special Edition”) that will remain available to users that have the Game app even after the Termination Date.

The Special Edition will contain limited features that are provided offline. In order for your historical Game data to be retained for the Special Edition, you will need to download your Game data to your own local device storage before the Termination Date.

    2. Data Retention

As noted above, generally we will delete all your Game data (including your Game user/account data) on the Termination Date. However, where permitted under applicable law, we may retain your personal information for a period of time after the Termination Date. After this period lapses, all your personal information will be deleted, except where required under applicable law.

We may store your information for this period so that, for example, if you choose to exercise your data subject rights (if applicable) before the Termination Date, such as the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, we are able to respond to your request.

If you download your Game data for the Special Edition, your Game data will be saved on your own device storage, and we will not have access to your Game data after the Termination Date.

    3. Your Rights

You have certain rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you, depending on where you are located. For example, you may have the right to access personal information we hold about you, and to be notified regarding how we use it and who we share it with. You may have a right to receive a copy of certain personal information we process about you. You may also have a right to delete your account or remove certain personal information we hold about you.

To exercise any of your data subject rights, please contact us at [email protected] before the Termination Date. Please note that we will be unable to respond to your data subject requests regarding the Game after the Termination Date.

    4. Contact & Complaints

Questions and comments regarding this Notice of Termination are welcomed and should be addressed to [email protected]. We are grateful for all your love and your continued support.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

    Best regards,
