Shogakukan announced the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Online Festival will be held from December 4 through May 31 as a digital and AR interactive experience. In addition, a collab event between Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will be held in January.
Tickets will cost 1,650 yen, or roughly $11, with access to a digital museum, audio guides, and so much more. Basic access to the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Online Festival is free, however.
Virtual doors open on December 3 at 10:00 p.m. EST / December 4 at 12:00 p.m. JST with the “Current Journey” section of the digital museum. The “Past Journey” section will open on December 25, and the fan interaction period with the festival lasts through January 31. A single-player experience will be available afterward.
It’s worth noting that the festival is accessible through a smartphone or PC. An S-PACE account is required. With these requirements in hand, fans can submit messages to the manga creators, interact with other fans, submit art, and design your own spells.

Additionally, more details about the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End collab will be revealed at the next NGS Headline in late December. The collab will feature new skins, Build Parts, and much more.
Previously, the 52nd issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday confirmed that the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End manga series is on a short break. The manga returns in the second and third combined issue of the Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine, releasing December 11.
The first season of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End premiered on September 29 and ran until March 22. Frieren’s Mini Anime Magic of ?? episodes released periodically during the first season. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 is expected to premiere in 2025, and it will continue to stream on Crunchyroll.
