Street Fighter 6 revealed the patch notes for the 12.02.2024 update on the game’s website. While the developers noted that this patch won’t be as big as the Akuma one, it contains balance adjustments to all characters. It also includes changes to normal throws and perfect parries, with a few bug fixes.

Additionally, a new “Giant Attack” event in the Battle Hub will run from December 2 to December 16. In this event, players work together to defeat a Giant Bison. The way how this event works is that players defeat SiRN Bison on the cabinets to accumulate enough energy to use Hadokens. Players will obtain a new outfit color for Bison by getting far enough into the event.

Street Fighter 6 initially released on June 2, 2023. Since then, they have released five DLC characters: Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, Akuma, M. Bison, and Terry Bogard. Recently, they announced the second season pass, which includes M. Bison, Terry Bogard, and Mai from the King of Fighters series, and Elena from Street Fighter: 3rd Strike and Street Fighter IV. Mai releases in Winter 2025, whereas Elena releases in Spring 2025.
