The creator of Hunter x Hunter, Yoshihiro Togashi, has stated that he has recently undergone surgery. Additionally, he has also drafted two new chapters of the series’ manga.
Recently, the series re-entered serialization on October 7. The Hunter x Hunter manga had gone on hiatus again after Togashi reported health issues, leading to his surgery.
The next major Hunter x Hunter project is the upcoming fighting game, Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact. The game will release on the PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch in 2025. The PlayStation Store page describes it as follows:
