Metal Slug Attack Reloaded Update Adds New Stages and Content

Adds new stages, units, and more.

SNK has released the first major update for Metal Slug Attack Reloaded, featuring new stages, units, and more. The Steam page describes the update as follows:

20 units join the ranks, including the all-new Reika for Liberty!

A total of 20 units have been added to the roster in this free update, expanding it from the over 300 that were available at launch. Reporting for permanent duty on the MSAR front lines are the brand-new “Reika for Liberty” as well as a host of fan favorites and former timed exclusives from METAL SLUG ATTACK for mobile (including “Christmas Midori” and “Everlasting Summer Abigail”). Together with this slew of fresh faces, players will also be able to enjoy updated Everlasting Summer and Christmas campaign scenarios, avatars, quests, and high-res character portraits.

Take on the most challenging stages yet!

The Christmas and Everlasting Summer campaigns (timed exclusives from the mobile version) are back—with the difficulty cranked up to the extreme! Including the Christmas and Everlasting Summer units for each stage in your deck will make battles easier to survive.

Leveling and map progression are now more streamlined!

Multiple quality of life improvements have been implemented to ensure an even more seamless game experience, including a batch evolution option, post-battle skip features, as well as more streamlined unit acquisition and leveling mechanics. The update also resolves minor issues discovered since launch.
