Square Enix has officially announced the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Material Ultimania. The 208-page book will release in Japan on December 27, 2024. Similar to Final Fantasy VII Remake, Tetsuya Nomura created the cover art for this Material Ultimania, featuring Zack Fair and the Buster Sword.
While a release in the United States is not confirmed at this time, it’s likely that Square Enix will translate it sometime in 2025. The standard Ultimania releases for both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth did not make the jump, but the Final Fantasy VII Remake Material Ultimania was released in English.
For those unfamiliar, the Material Ultimania line focuses more on concept art and behind-the-scenes assets, whereas the Ultimania line includes detailed guides on quests, locations, and more. You can pre-order the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Material Ultimania now at Square Enix.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available now for PlayStation 5, with future platforms possible now that the exclusivity period is over.
