Guilty Gear Strive revealed the playable dates and new additions arriving to the upcoming second open beta test of the 3v3 mode. The beta test will be available from November 8-11 and includes multiple new additions from the last beta. Not only can you now customize your fighters’ skills to fit your playstyle, but you can also fight against your friends in player matches.
Here’s what’s included in Guilty Gear Strive 3v3 Mode Open Beta Test #2, via Arc System Works:
- Tutorial Mode
- Learn the basics before joining the team battle.
- Online Match
- Play in 3-on-3 online battles.
- Player Matches
- Create your own room and invite friends or meet up in someone else’s room.
- Play with up to 9 players in 3-on-3 or custom match setups like 3-on-1 or 2-on-2.
- Skill Customization
- Customize your character to fit your playstyle.
- Choose from 5 different roles and 32 skills when playing in the Assist role.
Additionally, the developers released the patch notes for update 1.40 on the game’s official website. This new update mainly focuses on adjustments to individual characters rather than the universal mechanics. The latest DLC character, Queen Dizzy, will arrive alongside this update.

After Dizzy launches, players can expect the following Season Pass 4 characters to release:

- Unika – Spring 2025
- Lucy – Summer 2025
Guilty Gear Strive is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows. Guilty Gear Strive is coming to Nintendo Switch on January 23, 2025.
