SEGA and ATLUS announced Metaphor: ReFantazio update 1.09 is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This update adds a motion blur toggle for dashing, along with fixes to animations and in-game progression in the story.
According to ATLUS, Metaphor: ReFantazio update 1.09 will come to PC via Microsoft Store and Steam at a later date, so stay tuned for more information. The PC update will likely have the motion blur toggle and fixes specific to this version.
Patch notes for Metaphor: ReFantazio update 1.09 are available below, courtesy of ATLUS:
- New ON/OFF toggle setting for motion blur animation when dashing.
- Dash effects setting can be changed from SETTINGS > Dash Effects.
- Fixed an issue where a quest in the Catacombs cannot be completed under certain conditions.
- Fixed an issue where progression is blocked when enemies with status ailments conduct certain actions.
- Expedited the animation when displaying the popularity ranking.
- Fixed other minor bugs.
Moreover, the full official soundtrack of Metaphor: ReFantazio will release on January 15, 2025 for 5,500 yen. It will be feature 5 CD with 131 tracks, along with a travel map poster and bookmark set. A partial 61-track Metaphor: ReFantazio official soundtrack is now streaming on Spotify, YouTube Music, and other services.
