Crunchyroll announced that Toei Animation’s Girls Band Cry anime series will be streaming on the platform starting November 6 at 10:30 a.m. PT / 1:30 p.m. ET. All 13 Girls Band Cry episodes will be released at once with English subs on Crunchyroll.
Previously, Toei Animation announced that two compilation films for the TV anime are in production. Premiere dates for the new Girls Band Cry compilation films were not announced.
Moreover, a new Girls Band Cry mobile game adaptation for Android and iOS. Development is currently underway with no confirmed release date. Auditions for band members and cast members for the game will be held in 2025.
Girls Band Cry is an original anime from Toei Animation. Toei Animation is a beloved studio known for many iconic anime series, including One Piece, Dragon Ball, and Sailor Moon, to name a few. Girls Band Cry premiered on April 5, 2024. The English release followed up on August 13 in North America.
