Capcom has announced that a PS5 controller and console covers based on Monster Hunter Wilds will release in the future. The release date for the accessories, however, it will likely release alongside the full game on February 28. Currently, the Monster Hunter Wilds controller and console covers will only be available in Japan. Capcom will likely confirm if it will be available worldwide soon.
Additionally, Capcom recently announced a Monster Hunter Wilds open beta test will be held on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It will feature cross-play between all three platforms, along with a special bonus for players who decide to get the full game.
As Monster Hunter Wilds producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealed at the game’s showcase, the open beta test will feature character creation, a Story Trial, and the Doshaguma Hunt. Further, the Story Trial and Doshaguma Hunt may be completed solo or with others via SOS flare. Created characters may be transferred into the full game, and those who participate in the open beta test will receive a special bonus pendant or Seikret mount alongside a helpful item pack when the game launches.

- Non-PlayStation Plus Subscribers: October 31 at 8:00pm PT – November 3 at 6:59pm PT
- Xbox Series X|S: October 31 at 8:00pm PT – November 3 at 6:59pm PT
- Steam: October 31 at 8:00pm PT – November 3 at 6:59pm PT
