Bandai Namco announced Digimon World: Next Order surpassed a total of one million copies sold. These sales include physical shipments and digital copies of Digimon World: Next Order sold on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam worldwide.

Currently, a new Digimon Story game is in development. A release date for the new title has not been announced, however.
