Bandai Namco Files New Gundam ‘Battle Destiny’ Trademark

A remaster of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Battle Destiny may be in development.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has recently filed a trademark for a Gundam project under the name of Battle Destiny. The project is likely in relation to a remastered version of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Battle Destiny, released in 2015 for the PlayStation Vita. It is currently available exclusively in Japan.

Recently, Bandai Namco revealed the official DLC roadmap for Gundam Breaker 4, which begins at the release of Story Mission DLC 1 on October 24. Five major DLCs will be released over time with the game’s Season Pass ($29.99).

Gundam Breaker 4 Story Mission DLC 1 is titled GO! RESTART!!!, and it will be separately on October 24 for players who don’t have the Season Pass. Diorama DLC 1 “Colony Set” will be available that same day, as previously announced. The Diorama Pack Set ($14.99) will be available separately as well.

The other four DLCs will be released every week from October 31 to November 14. Here’s the Gundam Breaker 4 DLC roadmap, courtesy of Bandai Namco:

    • October 24
      • Story Mission DLC 1 “GO! RESTART!!!”
      • Diorama DLC 1 “Colony Set”
    • October 31
      • Story Mission DLC 2 “BRAVE DIVE”
      • Diorama DLC 2 “Mobile Weapon & Colony Laser Inner Wall”
    • November 7
      • Story Mission DLC 3 “BATTLE TOURNAMENT”
      • Diorama DLC 3 “Classroom Set & Haro”
    • November 14
      • Story Mission DLC 4 “BATTLE FIERCELY”
      • Story Mission DLC 5 “BEYOND BORDERS”
      • Diorama DLC 4 “Beach Set & Effe”

Final Weapon’s review of Gundam Breaker 4 calls the game a “clunky yet endearing mess,” as technical bugs affected the game at launch. Although the combat loop is simple, the customization features and story make it a title that Gundam fans can certainly enjoy.

Lastly, Gundam Breaker 4 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
