Pokémon GO Halloween 2024 Part 2 Begins October 28

The spooky event goes all out.

The Pokémon Company and Niantic announced that Pokémon GO Halloween 2024 Part 2 begins on October 28 at 10:00 a.m. local time. The update will feature Gigantamax Gengar, new themed decor, and much more for a limited time.

During Halloween 2024 Part 2, Pokémon GO players can get new themed decor, items, and costumes, including new costumes for Froakie and Rowlet. Pichu, Vulpix, and other returning Pokémon will also appear in eggs and raids. Wild Pokémon encounters, PokéStop locations, and Gyms will also be decorated with event-specific items during the event, which lasts until November 3 at 8:00 p.m. local time. Fortunately, themed avatar items will also be available in the in-game shop, even after the event ends.

Gigantamax Gengar will appear in six-star Max Battles, which were a new addition in Pokémon GO All Out season. A remixed version of the Lavender Town music will also play at night during the event. Paid Timed Research will be available in the in-game shop for additional rewards during the event period. You can read up on more details at the official blog post.

Recently, The Pokémon Company released tickets for the upcoming Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global Event. The virtual event will begin on November 23 and last until November 24. Fans can purchase a ticket for $11.99. Those who purchase a ticket and play Pokémon GO by October 22 will receive Timed Research that awards early access to a themed avatar item: the Toxel Mask.

Additionally, Pokémon GO Wild Area: Fukuoka will take place from November 16-17. Special early bird pricing of ¥3100 was available until October 14. There are a limited amount of tickets for the event. The Pokémon Company will sell the tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.

Lastly, Pokémon GO is available now on iOS and Android.
