Remedy Entertainment has announced the anniversary update for Alan Wake 2. The update will be available for free on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. According to Remedy, the update will include the ability to invert the X-axis on mouse and controller. It will also include new haptics and gyro controls for the PlayStation 5 version, as well as new gameplay assist features.
These will allow for players to enable abilities such as player invulnerability, infinite ammo, infinite flashlight, one-shot kills, and more. Additionally, Remedy has also revealed the first details for the PS5 pro version of Alan Wake 2.
Quality mode on the new hardware will feature 30fps with ray tracing, ray traced reflections, 4K resolution, and a higher render resolution. Performance mode will also feature a higher output and rendering resolution, as well as 60 FPS. Check out the comparisons for both performance and quality modes for Alan Wake 2 below:
The Alan Wake 2 anniversary update will be available tomorrow, alongside The Lake House DLC. A previous trailer describes the DLC as follows:
