Crunchyroll announced the My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising movie is now streaming on its service with English, Spanish, and Portuguese subs and dubs. This is the second film of the highly successful anime series.

Here’s a story synopsis of My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, via Crunchyroll:

Class 1-A visits Nabu Island, where they finally get to do some real hero work. The place is so peaceful that it feels like a vacation—until they’re attacked by a villain with an unfathomable Quirk! With All Might retired and citizens’ lives on the line, there’s no time for questions. Deku and his friends are the next generations of heroes, and they’re the island’s only hope.

You can also catch the latest film in the series, My Hero Academia: You’re Next, in theaters in North America.  Kohei Horikoshi served as character designer and chief supervisor for the film. BONES animated the movie, and TOHO is distributed it in Japanese theaters.

The voice cast of the My Hero Academia anime series returned for the new film. Moreover, Mamoru Miyano and Meru Nukumi play the roles of original characters Giulio Gandini and Anna Scervino in the Japanese dub, respectively. My Hero Academia: You’re Next features the theme song “Homunculus” by Vaundy.

My Hero Academia Season 7 premiered on May 4 with English subs, and the English dub premiered just a few weeks later on May 18 via Crunchyroll. The anime’s eighth and final season will premiere in 2025. The staff of My Hero Academia Final Season includes animation studio BONES, chief director Kenji Nagasaki, director Naomi Nakayama, script supervisor Yōsuke Kuroda, character designers Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima, composer Yuki Hayashi.
